Slowly but surely we are joining up the NEC dots to bring together military deciders, sensors and effectors. With this comes new challenges for the management of these systems’ outputs and inputs in an effective, efficient and timely manner.

Previous symposia have developed themes around the ‘Information Jungle’. Our theme this year - “Knowledge Integration in the Information Jungle” - builds on its predecessors to consider how we can move through the data jungle to allow information, and hopefully knowledge, to be integrated to facilitate:

• timely, accurate decision making
• Information Operations
• time sensitive, precision targeting
• sustainment of operational tempo
