AFCEA SOUTHERN -  AIMS FOR 10/11 SEASON

In priority order:

1.      Rationalise and update current inaccurate Southern membership list.

2.      Radically improve communications with members.

3.      Construct appealing programme for 10/11season - relevant to members’ professional and business interests.

4.      Increase (real) membership:

-          Individual by 5% i.e. from c70 to 75

-          Corporate by 10% i.e. from c4 to 5

5.      Run a Corporate event (March 10 & repeat March 11).

6.      Commence detailed planning for a successful Symposium in November 2011

7.      Achieve Model Chapter of Year award following previous success.

8.      Submit deserving members for AFCEA individual awards.

9.      Make charitable donations to worthwhile causes:

-          Gwenilli Trust (£250)

-          Help for Heroes (£250)

-          AFCEA UK Academic Trust (£1,000)

10.  Expand Chapter’s links with outside professional bodies including the Defence CIS Centre and the Maritime Warfare School.
